35 Old St. John’s Cemetery
Musicality, business acumen and wisdom of the centuries are buried in this old cemetery. One of those immortalised in stone is Franz Dominic Grassi, who chose not to squander his fortune on horses or his passion for the theatre, but—thank the Muses—bequeathed it to the city of Leipzig for art and culture.
